| The cuff of Mother's Socks, and a cup of hot chocolate overloaded with caramel flavouring. |
| Yum! I put in too much chocolate, for the size of the cup, but shhh, don't tell anyone. |
To be honest, the pooling of the colour looks like a drunk painted it, but who cares, they're knit with love and have a hug in every stitch. (:
Now I'm going to have to have Mom hide the pattern, so I can focus on L&L's blanket, which I actually NEED to get done. As soon as I finish this ball of yarn, I'll be about halfway there. So... no, this is not going to be done in 3 weeks, L&L. About 4 would be close.
I don't have a picture yet, I'll get Zach to help me take one later... (:

Besides these projects, I have 13 1/2 Christmas ornaments to make (by Christmas), Zach's Christmas gift (he's the only one getting one, and he knows what it is), and later I have to start a cardigan for Betsey, legwarmers/socks for me, plus about 15 things that are on my queue on Ravelry. Oy vey. Plus, I have about 30 favourites on Ravelry that I plan to knit in the future..
Siblings: Just saying, if you buy the yarn that is on my Christmas list, then I can finish most of these projects. Also, if you buy the needles, I can finish a sweater that is waiting for me to frog it and re-knit it. And, if you buy the roving and drop spindle, I can... um... have even more stuff to do, besides all my knitting projects...
Oh, and I have one crocheting project that will likely be ripped out and turned into dishclothes. I hate it.
Where can I get a copy of this Christmas list you speak of?
ReplyDeleteAnd can you explain what "WIP" means? I'm not cool enough for your acronyms! :-)
ReplyDeleteRight! Sorry, it means "Work in Progress". I can't seem to remember that not everyone is a yarn addict... Anyway, Mom says to send out my Christmas list in November, so I'll probably edit it today and send it out tomorrow. (:
