This weekend, since it is 3 days long, Z had his best friend over. After doing homework (what is wrong with these people?!), they started a project. Apparently Z's room is too small to put his guitars on his stands normally, so they built a rack to hang on the wall, for the guitars and cords. Here's the finished product:
They did this almost entirely by themselves. Dad only helped with the sawing of the wood, and with demolishing the wall.... er.... putting the rack up. All in all, I think they did a marvelous job. -gives round of applause... literally-

Visitations from Far Away
In the past two days, we had The Oldest Brother + Family over. We successfully remembered the garter stitch for about 8 rows (We= Grace&Ava), played baseball-tennis on The Turf, ate bunches of G'ma's nummy cooking, watched two movies, learned about some Italian guy in history, toured the school, drew pictures, made "books", and generally made a mess.

The First Post..... Of Sadness.
My name is Norman Polanski, welcome to my blog!
First, a very sad, sad, sad story.... but it just gives me an excuse to visit my sibling (Bestey) again, soo.... is it really that sad? Anyway, here is the sad story:
There once was a 13 year old girl who went to visit her sister. They went to a lovely little pottery shop called Pottery Bayou (or something like that.... the details are fuzzy). At that shop, the girl spotted a yarn bowl. Being a knitting/crocheting fanatic, she decided to paint it. She painted the inside pink, and the outside, black, to match her future room.
She used it happily for a month or so, when on a fateful day.... it fell off a piece of furniture, and smashed on the hardwood floor, shattering her hopes and dreams along with it... Jk. It was just a teeny bit sad. But anywho, this is what it looks like:
Betsey, kayaking/pottery-painting trip sometime? Pwease?
