KNITTING! WHEEEEEEE!

So, I am back again, this time with tidings of my WIPs. (Work In Progress)

Firstly, the blanket I promised my SIL. It seems I might have to go back to Joann's to fetch more yarn, but I hope not. I haven't finished the first skein yet, so I can't really be sure.

In its original form:
Modeled by my dear nephew, Jack-Jack
Then, LEGWARMERS!:
Okay, okay, fine, the MATERIALS for legwarmers.
The first time I cast on for these, I didn't cast on enough stitches. The second, too many, it was HUGE. Now I'm going to try again, this time I hope against hope it will be right. If not, I'm keeping it the way it is, because I don't really have any choice. The stitch pattern is over a multiple of 15 stitches, so I can't do anything but 60 (too small), 90 (too big), or 75 (who knows...).

So, those are my WIPs, and one FO (finished object, which is the baby blanket). Also, I'd like to say how BE-EAU-TI-FUL the gray yarn is. It is 75% merino wool, and 25% nylon. If the nylon were not in there, I couldn't even imagine the heavenly-ness of this yarn. It. Is. Delish. Us. I love it!

Oh, and, my first cable!

It's called a plait cable, and it is actually a bright-ish purple, don't let it deceive you
